This new light becomes the center of a new cult of Apollo and the farm laborers who flock into it. The rebel movement is opposed by Nessos, a photonic industrialist who exploits the labor conflict to set up his own personal dictatorship. Internal civil war ensues between the farmland ergati workers and the elite of the upper city decks.
