When Nellie arrives back in New Zealand almost a year later, she finds her life there has been torn apart, leaving her once again having to face a situation she was not expecting. She is forced to start a new life in a new town, but at least now she has enough funds to rebuild her life and start again.
Five years later someone from Nellie's past walks back into her life and her world turns upside down leaving her fighting for her life. The one person who has been a thorn in Nellie's side since she first stepped foot in New Zealand now faces her own challenges because of this, and finds she too is fighting for survival, high up in the mountains, in a world she never knew existed.
