She dreamed of growing up to play in the Women's Super League, but it was hard to make a living as a female soccer player. Knowing she may need a fall-back option, Mary went to university and studied hard. Since graduating, she has played for several teams, including Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain, experiencing many highs and lows along the way. This included the disappointment of being dropped from her national team . . . Fortunately, her skills weren't overlooked for long and she went on to help England win the 2022 Euros!
