The author has been fortunate to spend her life surrounded by history and natural beauty. Life in Inspiring Places, a book of poems and beautiful photographs, shares memories and impressions of living in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Washington, DC, Miami Beach, and the Florida Gulf Coast. Poems offering personal perspectives about life and family round out the book. Hanging Out with Wild Animals I-III is a book series of photos and poems about the author's encounters with Florida animals. These environmentally-themed books were written as her legacy as a teacher. Wonder: Poems about Love and Relationships is inspired by the men she has known and loved.
