An artist is often defined by their body of work, but what about when the body they draw weighs up to 20 tons or more? Jason C. Poole has been drawing dinosaurs for over thirty-five years. By tonnage alone his body of work is immense, and his paleoart has spanned across time from the Cambrian to the Quaternary and graced everything from museum chalkboards, paintings, coloring books, the pages of scientific publications, and National Geographic. Jason's work has also extended into the fantastic, with dragons and other mythical and fantasy creatures leaping from the tip of his pen and brush. But his first love will always be dinosaurs. This book captures Jason's talent, his creativity, and his dedication to bringing animals that lived long ago, and in our imagination, to vibrant and detailed life.
